Thanks for the input. I agree with the turbos, so far I rarely see them do much but knock over my frogspawn. I will definitely look more into the nassarius snails and hermits. I have a cleaner shrimp already but may look at the emerald crab too to help with the longer stuff then find him another home.

Couple of updated pics. Since last update I've added an emerald crab and 3 red leg hermits to help with the hair algae as well as pruning it myself and siphoning out. It is getting better but still has a long way to go. Corals are all happy and opening very nicely. Been having trouble finding a good spot for the palys though. Any suggestions?

Cleaner shrimp helping acans out. Cuts a shrimp that was too big then is rewarded later on. Thought he was picking at the coral at first.

So since I have added the red leg hermits and emerald crab I have had a few casualties ? . 2 turbos were ripped out of their homes and eaten. I left the shells but removed what was left of the slugs. Should I be concerned about either the hermits or crab?

I also noticed this on all the shells of the turbo (pic is of last living turbo) any id on this stuff?

Not much to update on other than my frogspawn appear to be splitting. All other corals are opening and seem happy. Clowns are getting along fine too.

I was moving the acans around a couple days ago and may have upset them. They haven't fluffed up over the past few days. I placed them back to their original spot. Should I give them more time?

Yeah, I would just give them more time. They should eventually come back. Tank is looking nice :) I see that you got rid of the hair algae, nice job

Thanks! Yeah that emerald crab and a few hermits really helped me clean it up along with good husbandry on the tank.

Wow huge difference from a week ago! Almost all the GHA is gone- nice job.

The small white round things on the shell look like feather dusters! Hopefully they transfer to your rocks.

Well they are everywhere lol. I have seen one on one of the old snail shells. I'll try and get a pic
