sydbarrett Posted May 7, 2015 Share Posted May 7, 2015 So im setting up a 10g for my brother. just finished chiseling and glueing some of the rocks together (not all of them) the scape looks much better in real life as it has more depth than height to it which doesnt really come out in 2d photos. To be honest I am quite happy with it and so is my fish. The idea behind the aquascape was to make it aesthetically pleaseing from three sides. Originally i had planned to have a single piece of rock with various holes carved out. this did not work as i could not locate the appropriate LR so i ended up chiselling various pieces from my sump to form the staircase arch that i have now. The single rock in the front left corner looks alittle out of place in the pictures but in real life it actually holds the scape together by giving it extra depth when looking through the side glass. anyways hope yall like it, cheers!!
