Mothi Posted July 26, 2004 Share Posted July 26, 2004 I am debating between the MiniAqua (1 9 watt actinic and 1 9 watt 100k daylight) or the 12" Drs. Foster & Smith PC (2 18 watt 6.5k full spectrum). This will be for a 2.5 or 5g tank. (Still not decided.) Can both be hung in a custom hood or must I use their legs/sit them on the glass? I want to keep polpys, a small frag of hard coral, and pom pom xenia. Both lights are similar in price, but one has more wattage than the other, but the Drs. F&S one requires me to buy new bulbs, so that adds to the cost. What should I buy? Link to comment
