lefty99 Posted April 26, 2015 Share Posted April 26, 2015 Would it be better for me to add dry sand with no bacteria in it or would it not matter if I add more of those live sand? I'm thinking if I add the live sand then I might get amother mini cycle as opposed to just adding regular dry sand. Let me know what every one think. Link to comment
Pinner Reef Posted April 26, 2015 Share Posted April 26, 2015 I'd say you're fine either way. If you go with the dry it will be colonized with bacteria. If you go with Live sand the current bacteria will process the cycle in no time. Link to comment
