They look awesome The Arduino Nano converts the 480kHz PWM signal from the Mini into a 5v 25kHz signal for true PWM fan control, either with PWM capable fans or just simple two wire fans (in which case it pulses the ground pin of the fan and is still able to control the speed without making a high pitch whine). The Mini is six channel, there isn't an eight channel version. Link to comment
