Chrisl1976
So due the design of my JBJ28, you can't really run filter media and a skimmer. It's one of the other. So I have been kicking around the idea of a fuge for awhile but the cost of a skimmer model was a little much since I already have a Tunze skimmer. So started looking for acrylic boxes to build one from and found a one piece acrylic hanging file rack on Amazon for like $15. Granted, it is a bit deeper, I needed that depth for my skimmer. There is a magazine rack that would work great for a straight fuge model. I drilled the bulkhead holes with a dremel. I just used sign coro for the baffles. Although I am relatively sure the acrylic would hold the weight of it hanging, I did put the entire setup on a shelf behind the tank. Total cost is around $40 since I already had the pump.
