Amy
How much would you pay for a 3" across toadstool leather? Link to comment
LebaneseDlight
So many variables. If it's a Tyree Neon Green, maybe $50-60. If it's a common one, maybe $30? Link to comment
afyounie
I wouldn't pay $30 if it was just a normal one. They grow too fast and are very common. The green one though looks nice, probably would pay 30 bucks for that. I got a 3 inch regular toadstool for free from my LFS. They had too many. Thing grew so fast it started taking up too much room in my 29gal. I ripped it out and tossed it. Didn't realize there was a small blob left. That blob has turned into a 1" tall toadstool with a 1" diameter head. Oh and its a lot more green than before. Link to comment
Amy
I think its the normal one, still waiting for a reply on it. I do know he has a beautiful purple one but I don't think that is the one in the pic he sent me so will wait and see what color it is. Link to comment
tibbsy07
Pay what it's worth to you. That's all that matters in this hobby, really. It's all arbitrary pricing anyways. I don't like toadstools much, so I wouldn't pay anything for it. Link to comment
Amy
This is the picture of it. To me it looks like a normal one. Link to comment

I'm not too familar with toadstools but I thought they only come in bright green and different shades of brown/tan (maybe the lights are giving it a 'purple' look?) Link to comment
seabass
... maybe the lights are giving it a 'purple' look I'd also guess that it's more tan than purple. They can get pretty large too (maybe too large for your pico). Plus, leather corals are known for their chemical warfare (can't remember if you run activated carbon or not). Link to comment
Amy
Yes I have always ran carbon in my tank. Link to comment
jlangtree
I know the pricing is different here in Australia, but I it wouldn't be worth more than $20 and that is at the LFS. Link to comment
Amy
That is what he is asking is 20.00 not sure I want it for sure yet the price is to high as well. Link to comment
