Tyron
So I thought I had this thing figured out. I know I drink the water from the black (waste) line, but is the flush valve supposed to open or closed or does it matter? Link to comment
CrazyCarl
The water from the black line is the rejected water, not sure if you are supposed to drink that.?.. The blue is clean. Red hooks up to the faucet or domestic water line. When you want to flush the filter you turn the flush valve and water will only come out of the black line. I do this for a few minutes every so often. Didn't yours come with directions? Link to comment
Tyron
Yeah I got that part (and the instructions) but I wasn't sure about the drinking water part. I know you can drink ro water but not sure which way to obtain it from the system Link to comment
gus6464
You don't drink the black line that is the waste line. The BRS RODI units are not setup for drinking unless you buy a john guest 3-way valve and split the blue line before it goes into the DI filter. I will take a picture of mine so you can get the idea. But firsts you need to get this or you can't do it. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/3-way-ball-valve-with-john-guest-1-4-push-connect.html Link to comment
