Waterhobit
So, I recently set up an auto top off system using the JBJ ATO system and an Aqua Lifter pump. When I plug the system in, it pumps my water for a few minutes and shuts off. I have one float in the sump and one in the ATO container. I keep having to manually top off my system with water because the ATO system never starts back up again other than when I unplug it and plug it back in. Does anybody know what might be going on? dillct
Just run it with the one sensor in the sump. There shouldn't be any worry about the AL running dry....you'll know it when it does because it's pretty loud. Link to comment
C00kieduster
The JBJ has a timer that shuts the pump down. If you open up the control box you will see where you can adjust the time all the way to 14 minutes. I'm pretty sure BRS has a video on you type that talks about this. Not sure though. knd107
+1 Change the time setting or upgrade the pump. Waiting for the baby to fall asleep so.... skip to 1.40 for timer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD21CAUFsqs Link to comment
Waterhobit
Turned up the timer and I believe this has resolved my issue. It was definitely timing out and shutting off. Link to comment
mikefish
This was huge for me. I replaced a float sensor to resolve this issue but it didn't work. I just went down and did the timer adjustment and it fixed it. Thanks nano-reefers! Link to comment
