c-bskt
I work at a lfs and was originally planning on a 93g cube build, but remembered how much I enjoyed my previous nano tanks. When the store received a shipment of fusions I knew I needed one. My eventual plan is to have it filled primarily with sps and euphyllia. I started the cycle using drtims January 23rd and today February 4th I'm nearly finished. Equipment: IM Fusion 20g Maxspect razor 120w 16k 2x IM spinstreams 2x Maxi jet 900 return pumps 10 lbs. c-bskt
I received my skimmer from marinedepot last night, I'm going to cut the bracket this evening and get it running. I'm still trying to find a decent size bucket for my ato as well, I've got a 9 day vacation to key west this summer so I'm hoping this ato will work well. Quote Link to comment

c-bskt
The new frags look much better today! I need to find epoxy to mount my superman monti in a better spot. I'm really thinking about ordering a hydra or two of the new prime fixtures As well. Quote Link to comment
deathbyart
I assume you saw the price drop on the Hydra 26? 1 Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
Yeah, I'm heavily leaning towards a hydra. I like the hydra for it's flexibility in that I could use it on a larger tank in the future. I like the prime for its wifi control built in. But the hydra 52 dropped $50 so I might just do that. c-bskt
Well I think I officially decided on ordering 2 prime fixtures. I really hope they release soon. Here's a couple new shots I grabbed.I edited the pictures slightly to match what I see in person. My phone camera tends to wash things out. Quote Link to comment

Really digging the granite top. I have a Fusion 20 as well. Will follow your progress. Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
Thank you, the granite really ties it all together. Mini update: I have a gold hammer on the way, should be here friday. Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
Well the hammer I ordered didn't come in. Looks like the distributor ran out of them. I now have a couple heads of white tip torch on the way. I also picked up a porcelain crab. Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
I keep going back and forth on my lighting situation, I originally wanted AI primes but their failure to release without giving a reason leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I would like leds but all the best sps tanks seem to use t5 Fixtures. I wish there was an affordable t5/led hybrid. Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
My hammer got brown jelly disease so i had to pull it out, seems i've had a bit of bad luck lately. I put in some chemi pure blue to fight a brown algae bloom. Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
I bought a used 120w maxspect razor from the classifieds. It should be on the tank tomorrow. I don't know yet what percentages I am going to start the light at. I'm thinking of peaking it at %40 blue and %30 white. 1 Quote Link to comment
meno_87
Digging the setup, really like stand. 1 Quote Link to comment

c-bskt
The new light is up and running, overall I am impressed! Quick fts Neon green birds nest pops under the blues Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
My weekly waterchanges were not keeping my calcium and alkalinity high enough, I am using aquavitro salinity. Calcium dropped to 360 about two weeks ago, since then I've been dosing b ionic 5 ml per day. The levels slowly seem to be coming up. I've also been bumping up my led power, I started at %20 white and %30 blue and am now up to %25 white and %35 blues. I added a Duncan coral as well. Quote Link to comment
reefernanoman
Nice tank and live stock. Quote Link to comment
bmoore92
What light are you running? meant to say " what light temperature" Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
My light is a 16k 120w maxspect razor. When the fixtures two channels are set equal (i.e: %50 channel a, %50 channel b ) it is 16k. I'm probably somewhere around 20k because I'm running more channel b than channel a. Quote Link to comment
c-bskt
So I'm thinking of finding a new home for my black clown, she's been constantly bullying my wrasse. I'm wondering if putting her in a breeder box for a few days would help? I've never had a clown this vicious. Quote Link to comment
Normang
I saw that your using the PLS 50 Elite. How do you like the skimmer for this tank, and how hard where the mods that needed to be done in order for it to fit? Does it stick our high like a sore thumb? I dont know whether to go with this skimmer or the Ghost Skimmer. Thanks 1 Quote Link to comment
