soeminpaing
I also did the same mistake when starting out. Getting cheap with equipments and end up paying more for less performance. Getting a lot of pest. Bryopsis, aiptaisa, monti eating nudi, pest starfish. I have them all. Most of the LFS are real pest distributor. I also have the same tank and just ordered ghost skimmer and mini max reactor. I also use eheim jager 75 watts and thinking of putting it in middle chamber but afraid of evaporation since I dont have ATO. Link to comment

Yep, at least I only made the mistake once and then started fixing the equipment. All my pests are taken care of besides Bryopsis, which reared its ugly head again, but it looks like my huge updated cleanup crew, tech M, UV, and NOPOX are taking care of it. I will only keep things in the center chamber if they are on the bottom (my UV sterilizer pump)even with the ATO. Link to comment

What do you think??I really like the way the layout of this forum, but am not super active on it. I really like that GTA is local and I can actually go over and see what people are talking about, or buy a frag of the cool corals they are posting. Makes it feel much more social . Love your pics!! goobafish
Awesome macro shots!! But can we get a FTS? I am only well practiced in macro shots, and all my lenses are either too long a focal length to shoot the tank, or a dedicated macro lens. I finally picked up a cheap 50mm and took a few shots last night. I am going to need to practice taking more "normal" photos. Link to comment
