umax5555
Newbie here. I just started cycling my 10 gallon and was looking at adding a Hydro pump. I have live sand and app. 7 lbs. of live rock. LFS suggested adding the 240. Using a Marineland 100 filter but removed the biowheel, not sure if it's needed. I'm just concerned that the 240 may be a bit overkill. Is it? Link to comment
Mathew18
I would say it would be fine. I have a 240 in my 10 gallon but really wish that I had gotten a RW-4 instead Link to comment
umax5555
I've not seen the Rw4. Just took a look. Very nice. Link to comment
Mathew18
I would say go with the RW-4 that way if you upgrade you already have a powerhead capable of taking care of that next step Link to comment
_divad
I am a huge fan of the Jebao pumps. The rw-4 would be perfect for your 10 gallon. Highly recommended! Link to comment
