Andrew_Reef90g
Hey guys, I need a cheap light for a 3g cube tank. The hardest corals going in the tank are acans/frogspawns/hammers. This is for a school tank that I'm donating and have already spent more then I wanted to. Hopefully for 30$ or less. Thanks, Andrew Link to comment
Andrew_Reef90g
I was thinking something like this - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Micro-Sun-LED-Clamp-Light-6-8-Watt-Super-Blue-Daylight-WavePoint-/251716661747?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a9b7b71f3 or one of the cheap par30 bulbs. zooman72
Those Wavepoints are quite powerful for the price, but the color isn't the greatest - they tend to be really blue... Your best bet might be a Par30, and if you can find a good used one it might be close to your budget. Link to comment
farkwar
CFL and a brooder lamp. About half your $30 budget. Link to comment
Andrew_Reef90g
CFL and a brooder lamp. About half your $30 budget. I have definitely debated this. However I feel like the color would be ugly and not sure on how the growth will be. Link to comment
