tpme06
I really need help, I'm at my wits end. I thought this stuff was bryopsis, but now I'm not sure since it's been 2 months of magnesium around 2k with not much success. I tried BRS magnesium mix first, then water changed back down to 1500 or so and brought it back up with Kent Magnesium as I read that "might" make a difference. I also run chemipure/purigen and added a reactor with GFO to help out. My nitrates/phosphates are very low. With that said, is this bryopsis? If it is, I may go the route of Sea Hare next since that is apparently another method that may work. I'm also open to suggestions! Link to comment
brandon429
if all else fails I want to beat it with peroxide. there are ten ways online people like to fight that stuff, peroxide and tech m boosting are top two. holler if tech m doesnt pan out, we have a good 200 after pics of that stuff being beaten w peroxide disease and pest forum big thread, see last page I want that challenge really bad, will even make a time prediction. if you post your before pics in there and run our treatment tomorrow, it w be algae free in about 6 days, your whole tank. tech m wont get ya that prediction but it does work as well. it is worth the work to simply lift out the rocks and apply outside the tank, if you must dose inside the tank, we have pics of that as well. if you w post a full tank shot in our big thread there we w carve that algae right up. have done it 57 pages. Youve already started the insult to it, see how its lighter/white than before treatment? thats a good start. You are trying to beat it using a method that affects your corals negatively, sustained ULNS without drastically increasing the feed w soon bleach them. Link to comment
