PaulP Posted July 19, 2004 Share Posted July 19, 2004 Can someone point me in the right direction to try and identify a new creature in my NanoCube. At the base of my Green Star Polyps is a small brown globular thing with two vents. It is about 1/4" dia and clearly, some type of filter feeder, you can see inside the larger of the two vents and they occasionally will close. The vents kind of make it look like a balloon, upside down. The vents seem to have four white lines? on the inside of them. One vent is on the top, the other on the side. I have been unable to get a clear picture of it with my camera, but will keep trying. It seems to be translucent or very thin membrane. Kind of light brown in color. Ideas? Paul P Link to comment

Was able to find pictures and sketch of the thing in another post, once I knew what to look for. How big will these things get? Mine, currently is about 3/8" from base to spout.
