William halligan
Well they should live because the hermit crab isn't a part of the triplefins food web, but I'm not sure if my lights can support the amount of Zooxanthallae in the Red Beadlet Link to comment
amphipod
Put your tank in sunlight so you don't have the light issue Link to comment

William halligan
about time for an update, We managed to find a Cockle about 1.5cm in diameter And three small horn snails The hermit also moulted and got in a new shell And that's about it Link to comment
amphipod
This is a cool tank, I like the cockle, how'd you find it? Link to comment
William halligan
I found the cockle in the sand while searching for snails at a small inlet but cockles are incredibly abundant in New Zealand the catch limit is 50 per person per day! Link to comment
amphipod
You ever went clam digging, go to a sandy beach and look for the holes in the wave washed area, then dig around ⅔ of a meter deep in the sand about 5 inches from the hole, then with your hands dig gently to the holes point at the bottom of the whole and work your way to the surface, you should get a clam several inches long if you find a larger surface hole. Its pretty hard though but fun. Link to comment
