Yeah, I just emailed Marco Rock to see what they can come up for me as for design. Think I will be placing order soon with them :)

 

Now I have 130 credit with Aquarium Specialty and idk what to buy

...

Careful with the mandy, Im not going to be one of those people telling you it will die, but they can be a challenge in a tank this small especially without a sump. They can decimate a Pod population in a short time. I kept one in a Nuvo 16 but I dosed pods weekly and he ate Nutra Ova. I ended up having to go to bi-weekly dosings on pods when the food suddenly became unavailiable everywhere :angry:, was costing me about 20.00 a week, luckily my LFS had a Pod culture that was cheap on pods.

Today my friend called Michael @ Aquarium Specialty to get some update on the stand and tracking number. He told us to call him back at 3pm as he was to busy doing inventory. I tried calling back at 4:53pm his time and my call went straight to voicemail. I have shipped the Skimmer and email Michael the tracking and request for exchange for a Tunze Streamfilter and Red Sea Reef Testing Kit. Hopefully, he honor his word as so far we have been getting crappy service. We have to call him all day and everyday to get some kind of update. It has been 2 weeks and 1 day and no replacement stand yet!!!

My BRS Dosing Pump and IM Desktop Skimmer has arrived.

Now, I pretty much have all the goodies that I will need to setup this tank if it ever happens. If this doesnt get resolved by this week. I will be looking for another place to order a tank and stand. I will more likely order from BRS or MarineDepot for the new setup.

Well, still no tracking and Michael at Aquarium Specialty promise us he will shortly forward the tracking but still nothing. He claims that he sent the email that included the tracking and so on for the replacement stand. Only email I received from Michael was saying he will resend it shortly...

After that, I decided to pack up the 30L to return back to Aquarium Specialty! Just how I received it. So back it goes tomorrow and a phone call to Discover hehe

Placed a new order with Drs. Foster and Smith for a new IM 30L Tank and Stand :) If this come up damage I am gonna cut my loses with IM Tank and Stand and go with Cad-Light Artisan 45 Tank and Stand system...

Boooo!!! If you end up with a Cad-Light and leave the Fusion 30L family :P

Congrats man - I assume you received the tank already from your post in the other thread. Looks like you have had a lot of trouble just getting the tank...usually most issues in reefing happen once things have been up and running for a bit ;)

 

At any rate, good luck with your setup! Definitely going to subscribe!

I wish that was the case. Just poor customer service and updates. Should have been just honest with me in the first place and all this hassle and trouble could have been avoided...

Well, time for a new update :D

 

I went boarding MLK weekend with the wifey.

When, I came back frag tank still in great condition. My little sister feed the clownfish and lawnmower blenny.

Most knows I placed a new order with Drs. Foster and Smith for a IM Fusion 30L and Stand on Jan 19, 2015. Then the stand and tank showed up on the Jan 22, 2015. This time I was REALLY Excited as its been a super long wait for this to be setup. I was so excited I just start assembling and got the tank wet. I will let the pics talk for themselves.

 

Stand assembled and mocked up where the tank will be.

Put the tank on top of stand and make sure everything was level.

Total capacity of the tank is about 23g of water :/ I guess that is right do to AIO.

Me too, I am looking for dry rock atm but idk what to buy, Marco Rocks, Vida-Rock, Bio-Tek and etc. I am looking for something that is high porous and pretty much scaped out for me. (Not very good with scaping...) Anyone with tips would be great!

I had planned on going bigger this time around( hated not having a sump), looking into a similar setup to you. I actually am considering a custom stand with a 20L sump underneath for larger skimmer, large Fuge, and reactor space. I know it defeats the purpose of an AIO but I want these dimensions really badly....

 

And I wanna see the lights as I am considering doing 2x XR15w too..... Unless Cadlights or another vendor can build me a reef ready in these dimensions, for cheaper( doubtful) gonna have to borrow some of your playbook here! Hurry up and set this bad boy up, hahahhaha

Well, today I moved my frags over to the 30L tank.

Does anyone know what it is? The tank is 5 days old. :eek: I know its kinda rushing it but the RBTA isnt doing so well so I had to move it asap! Why the rush on moving the frags and coral over. So far I have BRS HC GFO running in the reactor with stock media basket. I will be keeping eye on the tank to make sure everything is ok.

I return everything and letting my CC deal with them. Tired of calling and trying to get any updates from them.

 

New sand, New tank, New water? I would have been wary about moving everything over so quickly without a cycle. Especially an RBTA, lotsa people recommend the tank mature for a while before getting a Nem. Can't see anything in the picture, what are we looking for on the Scoly?

 

I am using 30lbs of CaribSea Arag-Alive Fiji Pink Sand, 4.4g of Nutrisea water and 19g of LFS mixed saltwater. RBTA is in the Frag tank and is doing well. When I first setup the tank I did put the old media in the 3rd chamber and let it ran the first 5 days when the tank was cycling. After that I setup my BRS HC GFO and Skimmer. Everything looks ok so far and testing well.

 

In the scoly you will see there is a hole in the body. Like it has a clam inside of it or something. I am not sure what it is to be exact. It is under the meat of the coral.

Nope, scoly doing just fine. Maybe its a hole for it to poop?

No, no poop-hole. My guess is a bi-valve of some sort. ve had mini-muscles on my stuff before.

This is my first time Aquascaping. So any tips and hints be great. I will be picking up some epoxy tomorrow to glue the left side together and hopefully start curing it in my frag tank.
