I have a 2x65watt PC with moonlight and im wondering if its time to change the bulb. PERAMS AMMONIA 0.0 NITRITE 0.0 NITRATE 2.0 PHOSPHATE 0.1 Link to comment
adam2373 Posted July 14, 2004 Share Posted July 14, 2004 PC bulbs generally last about a year till you need to change them. Try a red slime remover or do a 10% water change daily. Also try to scoop out as much of the slime as possible. Link to comment

2muchreef4u Posted July 14, 2004 Share Posted July 14, 2004 i doubt it's your lights that's causing the cyano & hair alage. since you've had it for 7 months, there must have been a die-off in your tank somewhere. do a head count of your livestock & clean-up crew make sure nothing's dissapeared & do a water change.
