stan
There are at least 10 of these tiny snails in my tank. They move quite quickly and are tiny. Help me ID. The only thing that worries me is the striped shell, which i hope is not a zoo-eating helicus. The shape reminds me of a nerite? Link to comment
nano-nemo
well, if it doesnt have a conical shell closing thingy its not a zoo eater. i have quite a few in my tank as well, and they appear to be just harmless algae grazers, as none of my zoanthids have suffered any. Link to comment
EtOH_is_good
from the top it indeed looks like nerite. look underneath to see if it has the closing flap. Link to comment
Angel
Looks like a nerite to me also. It doesn't look like the Heliacus sp. Link to comment
stan
thanks for the replies. My zoos have been doing poorly lately, i just kinda figured it might be these snails that just popped up. Link to comment
