Juanton80 Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 Hey guys! I just got in my new light, but had a few questions before I put in the bulb and turned it on. I did a search, but couldn't find what I needed. First, when installing the bulb, am I supposed to wipe it with alcohol before I turn it on.......seems like I have read this somewhere......also, I won't have the tank set up for another three weeks and will be transporting the unit to a location 3 hrs away. Is it bad to put the bulb in and turn it on, let it cool and then take it out. I was planning on putting it back in the box it came in. Just wanted to make sur ethat everything was working. Plus I'm dying to see what it looks like. I got the 20K XM bulb. Thanks! Any advice would be appreciated. Link to comment
