natcool111
I have this black growth that growing on certain spots on the rock. I have scrubbed it a few times and it goes away from the most part but in a 1-2 weeks it starts to grow back. What is it I think its hurting my coral. Link to comment
Acielot
Sponge or tunicates, harmless to coral unless it is smothering the coral. Link to comment

HOTWATER
Sounds like a personal problem to me! Lol scrape it off w something sharp, usually a flat head screwdriver or something of that nature will work, but IMO I wouldn't worry about it, unless it does start to bother something. Link to comment
doppelganger
if you really do want to get rid of it, sponges usually don't react well to air. That is, if your rock is accessible. Link to comment
