generic411
I just started a new 10g setup, and I placed some really awesome new caribbean rock in the tank today. This rock has proven to be loaded with all sorts of awesome critters. So far, I have found two small brain corals, a xenia, and these little guys that I am unsure about. The larger of the two is a little bigger than a quarter when fully opened. The smaller is just a bit smaller than a dime. To me, they appear to be anemones. I don't believe they are apstatia. They look far too 'thick' over all, and the tentacles are relatively short and fat. The pics are of them not completely opened. I will try to upload more when they come back out - I had to shift the rock around a bit before taking the pic. So, who has an idea on what these guys are? Link to comment
Amphiprion1
It looks like an aiptasiid of some sort. Several species can have bulbous or inflated-looking tentacles. Link to comment
