Alexraptor Posted July 17, 2014 Share Posted July 17, 2014 Bah, lost my Wheeler goby and almost my Mandarin today in my high-nutrient skimerless tank... It wasn't the caulerpa, it wasn't the nutrients and it wasn't the detritus. It was the stupid mermaids fans that wen't sexual on me because i forgot a ca/alk dosing session!!! Odd part is, ive had them go sexual before, but never this bad so that they "almost" nuked the tank. I guess calcerous algaes and low-maintenence skimmerless tanks just don't mix. Not that I planned it, it was just a pretty hichthiker that rode in on the rock a couple of years ago... Link to comment
