Sushi
i have the same question! i have about 2 shrooms that i can't distinguis whether they're normal shrooms or ricordia. i do know that ricordia seems to have more "nodules" while shrooms just seem to be somewhat less bumpy...? but i'm not sure Link to comment
HorrorBot
i have both ricordia and bubble or warty mushrooms. i used a book to identify them. bubble mushrooms have translucent green, blue, yellow, or brown bodies with tentacles that may contrast and/or be irridescent. the tentacles are small, forked, and fuzzy. i suggest checking out some pictures to help identify them. my bubble mushrooms is a cool translucent green. RobbAdams
Ok I got a rock from the LFS, covered in what they just called mushrooms, the bumps are deffinately round, the body is purple, and the bumps are a luminescent (SP?) green. The only reason I even thought ricordia is when I got them home and aclimated, their mouths were a pink colour, and quite large for a "Normal" mushroom Link to comment
