Kirk_M Posted May 26, 2014 Share Posted May 26, 2014 I know this is not in the proper forum, but, there's no chemical filtration forum What do most of you use as filter media in small, all in one pico tanks, such as a Fluval Spec? I am using an inTank media basket, with the two layered filter pad, and BRS Rox 0.8 carbon. The last tray is empty. I am debating using it for chaetomorpha and putting one of those JBJ LED fuge lights on it, or, adding another chemical filter. Chemipure? Not so sure...it's on my list as aquarium snake oil, not to mention the rest of Boyd's product line after using Chemiclean (precisely per the instructions) nuked my 10 year old SPS tank overnight.
