mroldcrow
I need help with identifying these worms. Today I was using a jewelers eye loupe to look at my sand bed and was shocked to find tens of thousands of these tiny worms along the sand. They are really tiny, you can hardly see them with the naked eye. My tank is about 7 weeks old and I've recently started adding livestock. The worms are all along the sand bed where it meets the glass and on some corals. The sand in the pictures is CaribSea Dry Aragonite Fiji Pink Reef Sand for size reference of the worms. I need to find out what type of worm these are and what, if any, type of treatment is needed. Thanks. TurboReef
They're just blackworms. Nothing to worry about. REEF SAFE Link to comment
Dr.Brain Coral
Fish will probably get them if you add gobies or sand sifters Link to comment
