reefer2290
Yes they work really well I have 2 in my 28 gallon and they are interesting to watch. My fish will go up to them and get cleaned several times a day. Link to comment
pyrrhus
the problem is they need a full time job. they are more prophylactic than curative, most fish need some time with the shrimp before they accept the cleaning services, and it may be too late by then. Link to comment
shinken
But if you havent any fishes with disease then they might stop em getting it! who knows..... Link to comment
pyrrhus
i agree with shinken, however clown does have a fish with disease, and i dont think a cleaner shrimp will help with this round. i am an advocate of keeping a cleaner shrimp or neon goby in every tank to help prevent and combat disease, they just arent usually an effective treatment for diseases present when the shrimp is introduced.
