jacquot385
So I just bought one of those moonlights that you suction cup to the side of your tank. Is there any certain place I should position it to get the best effect (should I point it at the top of the water to get the cool shimmer effect)? Also, do you leave it on all the time or just at night? I would figure just at night but just checking??? ??? Link to comment
sdbeazley
You should have the light on most of the night. Some people say that fish and critters need a few hours of complete blackness. Mount the moonlight where it is most appaeling to you. Link to comment
AReeferIsExpensive
IMO, suction cup=need to be taped down still cause i dont trustem.....id place it on the top/back/corner of the tank so it points "through" the water at a diagonal angle, then you get a more natural sheem over the inhabitants (instead of a direct beam of light) and if the moonlight is good, youll get glittery waves on your ceiling n floor. I leave my on 24/7~ Link to comment
