AReeferIsExpensive Posted July 2, 2004 Share Posted July 2, 2004 Ive seen almost everything in my tank "pout" at least once and never find out why....but a few days is a lil strange~ how long have they been in the tank? Could be adapting or maybe something is irritating them like a shrimp/hermit walking? Or maybe theres a PH pointing directly at them(just a thought)....try adding some strontium n iodine and turning the actinics on for a couple hours, which open mine up nicely... or something may be munchin away? Tonight after the lights have been off for a couple hours, turn it on w/ the rock in your hands and start pushing around all the polyps to look carefully in between every one (tedious, i know)..could find those @$#i!ing devil sundial snails like me (im not going to get into that! :*( ) or a lil nudibranch/ evil crab...who knows~ g/l Link to comment
kris_willard Posted July 4, 2004 Author Share Posted July 4, 2004 The zoo's are starting to open back up 1-2 poylups per day. So there opening very SLOOOOWWWLLLY. I put my kenys tree in there and its going great. I just put in a galaxy coral in there too(got it for free!) and it fully open allready. I guess the zoos are just being difficult. Link to comment
