Jstn
As my 5 day vacation is approaching I am contemplating purchasing one of these units, so my tank is completely automated and I dont need a tank sitter (honestly my friends all have zero knowledge of reefing). Does any one have one and care to share their impressions/experiences? Thanks Link to comment
Jstn
I got one, works really well. My only complaint is it is rather loud, similar to a dosing pump but even louder. All and all I am happy with it other than the noise. Link to comment
Ward9320
I just got back from a week vaca in Florida and I also have the same problem with my friends not knowing jack about saltwater. So I started looking into auto feeders and I broke down and shelled out for the Neptune feeder. Once you get it set up it was wonderful, just make sure you have an Apex to work in conjunction with the feeder. Apparently it is supposed to work independently but the only cable it comes with is an aquabus cable. So if you don't have an Apex you have to buy a separate AC plug for it. Also BRS just came out with a new video on YouTube on how to set it which was helpful for me. Link to comment
