smoothlarryhughes Posted June 30, 2004 Share Posted June 30, 2004 What type of bulb is the stock bulb that comes with the minibow 7? Is adding the stock bulb to a 32 Watt Retro a good idea? I currently have a 32 Watt Retro in the stock hood and figured I could add the stock light for more lighting. Any suggestions??? I plan on doing this until I get enought money to buy another 32 watt retro. Link to comment
lgreen Posted July 2, 2004 Share Posted July 2, 2004 stock light is worthless for salt water, it is just a standard bulb that is appropriate for fresh water, but will benefit coral in no way i would just leave it out. you could look and see if there are any salt water bulbs (ie, 10,000k, atinic, or 50/50's) that fit your hood if you wanted, but i dont know if you will find anything Link to comment
