clean up crew for 20 gallon

I just got this setup, bought it from a guy in my hometown which has had it setup for some time. It is a 20 gallon tank, has about 40lbs of live rock, 2 inch -2 1/2 inch live sand bed. Few mushrooms but that is about it. Has a few snails and maybe one or two hermits. Has an emperor 400 on it. The lighting is 60 watts right now but I'm in the process of getting a 55x2 fixture with actinic blue and 10 k bulb (maybe 6500K). Some time later on I will replace the emperor with something else that isn't as loud, maybe a skimmer, but read not good to have one on small tanks. My question is what you suggest for a clean up crew. The only fish I will have in it is two clowns. Or at least that is what I want. But I want to get a clean up crew, the clowns, and start adding corals and such. Any suggestions would be helpful, also picture included. It isn't much yet and eveyrhting is in the right spot, since the lights will be gone soon, the heater needs to be moved and the powerhead, just got it in yesterday and set it up quick and dirty.

Couldn't get pictures uploaded, so put them on a website

You got a decent setup there. Added with the new lights and everything, you'll have a great looking tank.

I just wanted to make two suggestions first;

The heater and wires; route them round the back and hide as much of the heater as possible.

The powerhead looks out of place sitting right near the gravel. Hook it up at the rear of the tank.

Anyway, you have plenty of rock, which is excellent. There is a variety too.

For my 24G I have:

8 Astreas

6 Blue Leg Hermits

2 Red Leg Hermits

Various small brittle stars

And also various other snails

Something similar to this or Physh1's indication is fine.

first of all, nice setup you have going on there, i find it interesting and amuzing on how you decided to place your powerhead upside down..does it have any purpose?

ok, regarding to your question, there is no definite answer to your question, its all up to your own personal taste, but some people says, 1 hermit/gallon, and 1 snail/2-3gallon ...but IMO, you don't really need hermits, add a couple of fighting/queen conch, 1-2 serpent/brittle star, a tiger tail cucumber will do nicely and not have to worry about hermits fighting and killing your snails for its shells.

The powerhead is just for the initial setup, I plan on getting two smaller powerheads and putting in each corner, that is just there to get it away from everything and can easily get it out in a week or so, right now focusing on lighting, then powerheads, then replacing that noisy emperor, but seeing a lot of movement now in the tank, and a feather duster appeared, I'm so excited, need to get that lighting up there to give me twice as much. Will have that completed in the next week or two, hopefully, trying to find a deal though.
