Von digity Posted June 24, 2004 Share Posted June 24, 2004 Well, yes and no. You do need a special ballast. But you can fit the MH double ended bulb in the fixture's sockets. 500 watt halogen fixtures can fit 70 watt bulbs. 150 watt DE bulbs, you need to buy special bulb sockets. Link to comment
