Destro
It will be good for most softies. Link to comment
kraphtymac
How big of a nano are we talking here? It's okay if you never want to see any color in your corals (no actinic...) Link to comment
ghost shrimp
I want to use it on a 10 AGA Link to comment
sdbeazley
it will be fine and a cheap solution. i like looking at 6.5k lights but you could always chane out the bulbs. Link to comment
ghost shrimp
Thanks for the help.....what type of corals would do best with this light system? Link to comment
Jahkaya
LPS and sofites I'd recommend at least 2x40 though. Link to comment
ghost shrimp
How would I do 2x40 in this light? Link to comment
ghost shrimp
whats the difference between 1x40 and 2x40? Link to comment
lilreefr
Check out the orbit 2x40. I have had good success with mine. They have dual actinic and dual daylight bulbs, a lunar light and mine has a fan(although i dont think they build them like that anymore). The lighting is great. They do cost a little more ~$120, but a better setup imo. Link to comment
lilreefr
The 20" sattelite has a Smart-Paq bulb which is a tube of 10000k and an actinic, so the colors would show pretty good. Link to comment
ghost shrimp
so is the Satellite lighting system worth buying?....thanks Link to comment
