this might be a stupid question about RO/DI water and amquel?

I'm not for sure, but I believe RO/DI water is pretty much pure right, so we don't have to add amquel to kill the bad chlorine and ###### in the water right.

You are correct sir! :P

 

RO and DI remove heavy metals, ammonia, chlorine, etc. There is no need for any water treatments after the water has been through these filters.

 

If you ever smell chlorine or anything funny in the water your getting out of a filter you can add it just in case BUT you'd be better off replacing your filter elements. Keep on top of those filter elements ;)
