Was thinking this light would be a good option since they are using it in hydroponics...... Any experience???? Link to comment
Tamberav Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 I use the coral compulsion led grow light and it has 2 red, 2 blue and 1 NW, 2 WW and it grows my cheato really well. It's outgrowing my 20g fuge. Link to comment

It will force your chaeto to repopulate and it will force it to eat and grow out the already established plants. When I say repopulate I am not talking about going sexual. I am talking about sporing new growth off of the old stuff. Each spectrum of light will cause a different function in the macro. Some macros you don't want them to reproduce, chaeto is not one of these. A good mixture of UV to RB, and DR 660nm or higher with a little warm whites is GREAT. Link to comment
