Warboz
Well this is what I'm thinking...tell me what you guys think. I will be keeping all kinds of corals, softies will go in shadow, and I want to keep acros and clams. PFO Dual 175w Ballast: http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp...dproduct=PF1412 One 175w XM 10k Bulb and One 175w XM 20k Bulb Retrofit PC 2 X 55w 03 Actinics Anyone had any experiance with this particular ballast or bulb. Am I reading it wrong, this one ballast will run 2 175w bulbs correct? Give me whatever advice you think would help. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
wirick21
It looks like you read it right to me. don't you think that is a little over kill on the lighting though. the tank will probly get pretty hot. Good luck let me know how it goes. Brian Link to comment
Warboz
Bump, looking for a few more opinions. Link to comment
kbreese
why not just 1-250w MH with the PC supplementation. That would be plenty of light for a 29g. You could probably even just do 1-175w 6500k MH w/the PC's and be fine. Also, check out diyreef.com for some of the best lighting prices... Link to comment
NaNO ReeFiN
For a 29, one MH bulb is enough. Go with a 250 bulb and some 55watt pc actinics or a couple 75watt vho actinics. Link to comment
Warboz
Alrighty, I'll just go with 250 10k and some actinic suppliments for coloration. Link to comment
