revance Posted June 17, 2004 Share Posted June 17, 2004 I am working on getting a 5.5 up and running and I plan on using the Coralife 20w 50/50 self ballasted lamps (screw in type). I haven't used them yet, so I can't really say much about them, but they are easy to fit in a hood. Link to comment

ODOG Posted June 17, 2004 Share Posted June 17, 2004 I use what's deemed a 20" light on my 5.5 gallon, works fine. Right now have 2x36 watt PC'S but my ballast will allow me to run 2 x 55. A 20" bulb is really more like 16" when you subtract the plug end and other stuff around it. Try www.ahsupply.com Link to comment
