I'm a fan of the SpectraPure ATO. Glad to see your tank is still doing awesome! The smell is a bit odd if you are running carbon. Water level on your tank go down at all? Exposed algae on the glass can stink sometimes.

I am running 2 MP10s and 2 Hydors. My Bus Cable for my controller is shot so waiting on the replacement. When I recieve the replacement I will be running my Koralia Evos with the ReefKeeper. I am using the Hydors to fill dead spots....flow is great.

 

Algae is pretty much gone at this point, couldn't be happier with the results!

That's some serious flow in a small tank, I would of thought 2 mp10's would be to much. But it sounds like it's working for you.

Two MP10's is not too much for a 75 gallon tank. It's really not too much for a 40 breeder. One common mistake is to underestimate the amount of flow needed for a healthy tank. It's a lot, even with LPS. It's not so much the rapid blasting flow but multiple sources of flow, or even better two MP10's working in tandem to keep constant flow throughout the tank.
