scubasteve2580
Ok guys, and ladies, so I'm plumbing a 20 long into my system for (mainly) sps fragging. I've got a few options here on what to use for lighting. A 150 w/ phoenix 14k, a 250 with phoenix 14k, or I can diy a 4x24 t5ho setup. I like the color of t5's but not sure those bulbs would match growth. What does everyone think?? I'm also exploring the 2x24 t5ho (maybe a super actinic 454 and Fiji purple)/ halide combo idea. Anyway any help would be nice. Link to comment
Jackal_Knight
what lights are you running on your main display now? if your running MH in your main, I'd run MH on your frag tank, so your frags don't have to adjust to another light. Link to comment
scubasteve2580
I'm running halides over my main. The frags that will going into the frag tank however will not be coming from my display. Yet anyway, my corals aren't near big enough. They will be ordered in stuff mainly for propagation. I'm currently planning my frag system but I have to have something to fill the hole now. I'm obsessed haha Link to comment
Subsea
For flexibility of individual bulb spectrum and economy four T5 would serve you well. Patrick Link to comment
