cirionrc Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 Anyone know if this is normal. There is a white growth on all the shells of the snails and hermit crabs. It actually seems that the shells are being eaten away. Is this lack of calcium or something? Is it something to worry about. Link to comment
reef93 Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 It could be bleached coralline algae(I may be wrong). If it is then nothing worry about. Keep up the Cal/Alk and it should turn to purple coralline algae. Link to comment
