TheCheat
Sorry, I don't have picture to help with this, but maybe you all could take a guess at what I found in my tank today. It looks like the leg of a tiny baby brittle star. It is not even 1cm long. The front half of it is red, and the "tail" end of it appears dark purple or black. it has a few rows of little bitty spines running down it. Though I haven't seen it too often, when I do see it, the red end acts like the head of the critter, leading it around. I would describe it as a miniature caterpillar I suppose. Any ideas folks? Thanks all! B Link to comment
mogurnda
Sounds exactly like a little bristleworm. Generally a harmless scavenger. Link to comment
