Starting a freshwater pico tank...? Help.

If you truly want a planted tank, invest in plants that don't need much light or pressurized CO2 to thrive - namely Java Moss, Java Ferns (these two are hardy and great for beginners), Marimo Moss Balls, Cabomba, Subwassertang Moss etc. Do your research first though, and things will go a lot more smoother if you keep yourself well-informed. Usually a tank your size will be okay hosting a few of the smaller freshwater species such as Danios, guppies and tetras. Best of luck! :)
