Voodoodol
I recently took 500 amphipod/copepod mix and put it in my ten gallon which houses a small nem and a nem crab, live rock and some macros. I'm attempting to produce them myself so I can save money. I've never done this before and am just wondering what the basics are for this. 1) do I need to stick to my regular maintainence schedule or is there something different I should be doing? 2) I'm feeding phyto, cyclopeeze, zooplankton, pellet etc daily. They seem really pleased with the variety in that when food hits the water they come piling out of every nook and cranny to eat. 3) are there any special light requirements? 4) for tank transfer I just pull out a rock covered with pods and place it in one of my other tanks and take a rock from one of those tanks and let it cook in the pod tank for a while. Seems To be working well. Any reason I shouldnt do that? And basically just any information you have on how to make this a success would be great! Link to comment
