Foogoo
I want to get a couple hermits for housekeeping in my 10 gallon nano as almost every source recommends, however, don't hermits need to get our of the water? From what I've researched, hermit crabs are aquatic but need to get out once in a while, unless these hermits are fully aquatic? Link to comment
NaNO ReeFiN
No, they're fully aquatic. Unless you're researching those land hermit crabs, (I've got those as well in a 10 gal. tank) but blue legs, red legs, scarlets, zebras, etc. will all be fine in your tank. Link to comment
Physh1
I agree. Most fish stores will carry purely aquatic hermits that don not require any dry land to be happy. Cameron Link to comment
Sahin
Agree with the other two. Have never seen any of my hermits try to climb out. Link to comment
