SantaMonica Posted May 20, 2013 Share Posted May 20, 2013 Yes cyano. Phosphate may be coming out of the rock. Usually cyano needs carbon from decaying food particles on the sand, so if you point a powerhead at the sand it will keep the particles from collecting. Or just more CUC. Of course, stronger phosphate filtration overall helps too, since cyano needs phosphate. Link to comment
