Will this be okay to use on a simple aqueon petco 10 gallon aquarium I'm using as a sump in one of my tanks?

Just saw this post. If you mean the HOG1x, the magnets are a bit strong for that thin glass. The HOG.5 would be better. Or the SURF2 which floats on the top.
