johnrags1234
i just got my 2.5 when everything cycles would it be safe to add a shrimp? particularly a coral banded one, if not one smaller any ideas? Link to comment
Drysocket
I think a coral banded might get a little big for a 2.5 gallon. A peppermint shrimp might be better. Link to comment
NaNO ReeFiN
A peppermint, or maybe you could try a skunk cleaner shrimp. Link to comment
printerdown01
What about an anemonie shrimp (not an egg shell, they will grow too large, but a smaller form of an anemonie shrimp) or a porcalline (spelling) crab? These will both do well in a 2.5, just be careful not to overdose on phyto! Link to comment
Mr_Spam
blood shrimp, scarlet cleaners are good choices aswell. Link to comment
Sahin
I would go for a Blood / Fire shrimp. The skunk cleaner shrimps have long wiskers and would look out of place in a small tank. The Blood shrimps awesome colour would make it very suitable. As for a pep shrimp, you never are 100% sure your getting a true pep, as camel shrimps which look almost same can eat corals.
