On my phone. I don't give a shit. You are the one stuck with a crappy scape.

Your all entitled to your own opinions, just don't expect me to like your comment (like 6 gallon nano reef) :P

Go to mother f####g hell!

There's a special hell for that? Tell your mom to stop calling me.

Have you considered any alterations to the 5 scapes pictured? I just think you could get more with slight tweaks.

I have over five pounds of small rubble and rock saved in order to create weird shapes, if I do number 2 I will try to make the V a little more crazy looking. I will take note of your suggestions in laying a pice or two down as well.

I'm getting a variety of responses, nothing is final and I will keep the rock in case I change my mind

I don't know y, but I like #1. I have a feeling things will change when the sand is in

Can't wait to see my pagoda cup in here! Not to mention the pearlberry piece I ordered!

Number 2 to be even though everyone else doesn't like all your scape but if that's your only choice then #2 is the way to go

I will keep you guys updated on what the final ends up being...

So I promised a photo, putting up a FTS tomorrow (just added my first corals from my old tank)

Maxima Clam

150+ Headed Green Acan

Brown and Green Candy Cane

I went with FTS 2 and I'm happy I did so, looks great and I have a lot of great spots for coral!

I encourage you to follow the tank thread (link below) with weekly pics. Especially the 20 of you who voted for #2!

Might be cool to watch everything fill in and see where I take the scape! :D

I like it a lot! U can imagine the branching sps on the top spiral over the scape! And other sps spreading over the other side. This gonna look sick when your tank start maturing.

So, an overwhelming amount of people picked Choice #2...

May there be 92 Days more! Hope you guys enjoy the progress and see what you and I envisioned for this tank. :D

*Simplicity

Simple is the key and also waterchange! Great choice and good job

Thanks, honestly to me it seems like you are lacking in WC's (IMO 10% biweekly isn't much at all)

Sure it's enough judging by the results but I'm surprised.

With that said, I will give credit when it is due, and I must say that your aquascape and photography skills (perhaps your just your cameras skills :P) are of great quality.

What's your photo rig?

For those curious on how this turned out, the tank is now 150 days old!

I'm posting a lot of pictures tomorrow on the tanks thread.

I encourage you to come, stop by, and check them out!

Thanks, I think you'll like it even more tomorrow, It's starting to look mature and full.

I didn't like any of the picture in the polls but it turned out great. I really like it. Looks very natural.

Awesome. The only thing I don't like is the uneven sand, JMO. Still impressed of how natural it looks.

Thanks, I think you'll like it even more tomorrow, It's starting to look mature and full.

Lol, not with those acans inside.

You should do a poll on the acans, honestly.

I will if it makes you feel better, but the Acan won't go anywhere despite what the poll results yield.

Every nice tank has a large LPS/branching at the front. I have had that colony for 3 years.

It's the only acan in the tank, just one.

I changed my aquascape after 450 days...

"Comments:

The new scape is cleaner and (in my opinion) healthier for the corals (especially when I add a second circulator to the right side). The scape showcases the acros and allows for plenty of growth, it also shows off my white sand bed (negative space). My biggest issue with the scape (and it is a fixable small one) is that the rocks appear in height order, which is a little unnatural. Over the coming weeks I'll tilt and move the rocks a bit to experiment what I like best.

Like I said earlier, the main reason I re-did the scape was due to nuisance algae and because I got bored of the old scape. What finally pushed me over the edge was thinking about my old 35 gallon cube. I completely switched the scape of that tank three times! Each time I did, I felt I improved the overall atmosphere. My only regret was not having overcome my fears of change and uncertainty quicker, if I had gone to the last scape of the three (*pictured below) sooner, I may have had a chance to let my SPS grow out more and maybe even win TOTM. By the way, the structure on the left of the cube is a massive arch that my fish swam through.
