That trachyphyllia (commonly called open brains) is insanely bright! I had one a few years ago that I thought was bright but yours makes mine look pale for sure! Thanks man, I love my tank I tried to do everything the right way so i didn't have any regrets. Okay so i wasn't completely wrong on my id. Yeah that teachyphyllia is rediculusly bright. Every one that sees it in person thinks its plastic or the fake. ——————————— little update just got 5 heads of a frogspawn. When got home to put it in the tank, and my power was off must of been off all day tank temp was 75°. I would of waited for power to come back and tank to come back to temp. but i had to head out again, so i tossed the guy in and left. Well see how it looks when i get home. Its alot bigger than i though it would be in my tank, must be one of the down sides of have a small tank. I might just frag down to 3 heads before i glue it to the rocks. Jackal_Knight Posted October 14, 2013 Author Share Posted October 14, 2013 I had some free time this weekend, and didn't feel like drinking. so i grabbed a beer and busted out some power tools, i had some scrap wood left over from some job. So whats better than free wood to use as some doors? I totally get you with the no-money mode. I haven't gotten anything new in my tank in months and its hard to get motivated with the tank when there isn't new things to look at and watch grow. Its been awhile since I viewed your thread. I see that you went to Xplore and Xcarat. I went there during our Honeymoon, that place was a lot of fun, I hope you had the same. Link to comment
Jackal_Knight Posted January 25, 2014 Author Share Posted January 25, 2014 Nope overflows been working perfectly and surprisingly quite. yup needs alot of TLC i was gone for 3 weeks so that's way its looking so bad. gave it water change and cleaned all that crap off the sand yesterday, everything looking better except my birdsnest doesn't have any polyp extension. Oh yeah Xplore and Xcarat were great, so far its been my favorite vacation so far. i didn't want to leave, you check out any of the ruins? Link to comment

Thanks steelen OK well small update I started dosing redseas no3po4x about two weeks ago and have been very happy with the results. I just don't like dosing it every day, so I decided to go with bio pellets. I ordered a two little fishies 150 reactor and bio pellets. Should be here next Tuesday can't wait! Also I was cleaning my tank today I noticed my lobo or what ever it is has changed colors I've had it for almost 2 years when I first got it, it was a solid dark purple. I stuck it in the back of my tank since it has since its pretty big and couldn't find a better spot for it. I haven't really looked at him in a while but today I notice he now is green on the outside purple in the middle and blue centers. Its a really nice piece now. My phone camara didn't really pick up the green as much as I though but Its there trust me Link to comment

I had to rip out the bottom red disk thing because with it i wasn't getting a good tumble with the pump at max.
